THE Chairman of the Rangitikei Highway Board has forwarded the following amended Construction Order in lieu of the Construction Order published in the Wellington Provincial Gazette of the 19th February 1875, No. 6.

Highway Construction Notice.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Rangitikei Highway Board has caused specifications, maps, plans, and elevations to be deposited for inspection at the office of the said Board at Marton, showing a road proposed to be constructed through the properties of Messrs. Charles Cameron and John M’Kay to the property of Mr. Archibald Cameron, being sections Nos. 54, 74, 78, and 69, in the Turakina District; and also a road through the properties of Mr. George Maunder and the estate of John Lambert, being sections or blocks numbers LXV. and IX., Rangitikei District. And that all persons affected by the proposed work or undertaking are required to set forth in writing, addressed to the said Board, within forty days from the publication of this notice in the Gazette of the Province of Wellington, all objections which they may have to the said work or undertaking.

NOTICE has been received at this Office under the hand of the Presiding Officer, Mr. Robert Harris, that Mr. Charles M. Gavin has been duly elected Warden for Ward No. 7, Rangitikei Highway District, in the place of Mr. Charles Thorn, resigned.

NOTICE has been received at this office from the Chairman of the “Johnsonville Local Board,” that the Board have appointed Mr. Frank Orbell, Collector of Rates to the Board.

Wellington, 31st March, 1875.
THE undermentioned Deeds of Grant having been duly executed are now ready for delivery at this Office, under the authority of “The Crown Grants Act 1866” and “The Crown Grants Amendment Act, 1867.”
A fee of sixpence is chargeable on each Crown Grant for every month during which it shall remain in this office after the expiration of three months from the date of this notice.
In cases where it is impossible for the party entitled to receive the Grant to attend in person it will be delivered to the bearer of an authority according to the subjoined form certified by a Magistrate or by a Solicitor of the Supreme Court.
