Warrant.

WHEREAS it has been notified to me, under the hand of the Chairman of the Masterton Highway District Board, that Mr. Hugh M’Master has resigned his seat at the said Board, under the provisions of the fifteenth clause of “The Highways Act, 1871.” Now, therefore, I, William Fitzherbert, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby appoint that for Ward No. 6, of the Masterton Highway District, the voters qualified to vote for the election of a Warden in such Ward, shall meet at the premises of Messrs. Buck and Kemble, on Thursday, the 16th day of April next, at twelve noon, for the purpose of electing a Warden for such Ward. And I do hereby appoint Mr. R. Wilson to be Presiding Officer at the said meeting as aforesaid.

Given under my hand, at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this 27th day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

HIS Honor the Superintendent has appointed a meeting for the election of a Warden for Ward No. 6, of the Masterton Highway District, to be held at the premises of Messrs. Buck and Kemble, on Thursday, the 16th day of April, 1874, at twelve o’clock noon.

R. Wilson has been appointed Presiding Officer at such meeting.
