IMPORTANT SALE OF 10,172 ACRES OF VALUABLE SURVEYED AGRICULTURAL CROWN LANDS,
CONSISTING OF
TOWN, SUBURBAN, AND RURAL SECTIONS.

NOTICE is hereby given, that there will be sold by public auction, at the Provincial Council Chambers, Wellington, at eleven o’clock a.m., on Tuesday, 28th April, 1874, the following Crown Lands, viz. :

360 TOWN SECTIONS, a QUARTER to TWO ACRES EACH,

104 SUBURBAN SECTIONS, TWO to SIX ACRES EACH,

87 RURAL SECTIONS, of the FINEST AGRICULTURAL BUSH LAND, 46 to 200 ACRES EACH,

Situated in the TOWNSHIP of PALMERSTON, MANAWATU DISTRICT.

A RURAL SECTION in the KARERE BLOCK, MANAWATU DISTRICT.

1,800 ACRES of valuable TIMBERED AGRICULTURAL LAND, consisting of SUBURBAN SECTIONS in the WAIKUPU RESERVE, LEFT BANK WANGANUI RIVER, varying in size from 80 to 160 ACRES EACH,

150 ACRES IN THE HOROKIWI VALLEY DISTRICT,

AND

1,253 ACRES of first-class AGRICULTURAL LAND, situated in the RANGI-TUMAU BLOCK, WAIRARAPA.

The Palmerston Town, Suburban, and Rural Sections are all accessible by Roads, the township being the centre point from which several lines radiate, the Main Line from Foxton to Napier passes through it; a second line connects it with the Rangitikei District, while the Tramway runs between it and Foxton, the Shipping Port.

The Waikupu Reserve comprises nearly the last of the unsold Crown Land in the Wanganui District.
