✨ Crown Lands Sale Proclamation



Sale of Crown Lands.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor William Fitzherbert,
Esquire, C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.

WILLIAM FITZHERBERT, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby in pursuance of the regulations in this behalf, proclaim and notify that the several allotments of land situated in the Waitotara District; in the Wanganui District; in the Parae Karetu Block, in the Porewa District; in the township of Palmerston, in the Manawatu District; in the Hutt District and Upper Mungaroa Block; in the Tupurupuru, Rangitumau, and Taratahi Plain Blocks, in the Wairarapa District; and in the Akiteo and Pahaua Blocks, in the East Coast District, in the Province of Wellington, and specified in the Schedule hereto; except such as may be reserved under the provision hereinafter mentioned, will be put up for sale by Public Auction, at the Crown Lands Office, Wellington, on Monday, the 26th day of October, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

If at any time during the sale it shall appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lands beneficial or expedient for the public service, to reserve from sale either of the sections specified in the said Schedule, or to vary the order in which they are to be put up, he is hereby authorised to do so.

Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.
