PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor William Fitzherbert, Esquire, C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by the Land Regulations now in force in the Province of Wellington it is declared that all reserves for the sites of Townships, or suburban lands for the sites of Agricultural and Small Farm Settlements, or for any other purpose of public advantage, safety, convenience, health, or enjoyment, shall be determined by the Superintendent, who shall notify the same by Proclamation, wherein the object shall be specified for which any reserve shall be made:

And whereas it would be of public advantage if part of a certain section of land in the Township of Sandon, in the Manawatu District, as per Schedule hereto, was set apart for a Public Cemetery, now therefore I, William Fitzherbert, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in virtue of the power and authority vested in me in this behalf do hereby proclaim and declare that part of Section No. 152, in the Township of Sandon, in the Manawatu District, containing twenty acres, more or less, is hereby reserved and set apart by me for a Public Cemetery.

Given under my hand, and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this fifteenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four.

SCHEDULE.

Containing by admeasurement twenty acres, more or less, being part of the section numbered 152 on the plan of the Township of Sandon, in the Manawatu District, bounded towards the North by section No. 68—961 links; towards the East by other part of section No. 152—2309 links; towards the South west by a public road—1062 links; and towards the West by section No. 68—1856 links.

HIS Honor the Superintendent has been pleased to appoint the following gentlemen to be Trustees for the Management of the Public Cemetery at Sandon, in the Manawatu District:

that he has granted a Clean Certificate to

Mr. B. P. Perry—Upper Taueru—Dated 18th August, 1874, for his Long Bridge flock.

Also, that he has Cancelled the clean certificate of

Messrs. Beetham — Brancippet — Dated 15th August, 1874, for Broken flock.

License to Kill Wild Cattle—unbranded.

Superintendent’s Office,
Wellington, 8th September, 1874.

BY virtue of the power vested in me by clause 7 of the Act of the Provincial Council of Wellington, Session IV, No. 18, I hereby authorize Mr. John Barton, District Provincial Engineer, Wellington, to kill any cattle, the property of the Government of the Province, on all that land lying to the North of the Opaki Block and to the boundary of the Hawke’s Bay Province.

BY virtue of the power vested in me by clause 7 of the Act of the Provincial Council of Wellington, Session IV, No. 13, I hereby authorize Mr. Lawrence Ford Hanson, Assistant Provincial Engineer, Wellington, to kill any cattle, the property of the Government of the Province, on all land lying to the North of the Opaki Block and to the boundary of the Hawke’s Bay Province.
