ANNUAL CONTRACTS.
SEALED TENDERS will be received at the Provincial Secretary’s Office, on or before Friday, 20th June, 1874, at noon, from persons desirous of executing by Contract any of the undermentioned Supplies required for the service of the Provincial Government during the twelve months commencing on the 1st of July next:
PROVISIONS, &c.
Wellington Gaol.
Rations as under, at per Ration.
No. 1 CLASS.
1lb. Bread; 1lb. Potatoes; 2oz. Sugar; ¼oz. Tea; ¼oz. Salt; ¼oz. Soap.
No. 2 CLASS.
¼lb. Bread; ¾lb. Potatoes; ½oz. Salt; ¼oz. Soap; ¼oz. Tea; 9oz. Sugar.
No. 3 CLASS.
1½lb. Bread.
No. 4 EXTRA.
½lb. Bread; ¼oz. Tea; 2oz. Sugar.
Meat.
This contract includes the Gaol, Lunatic Asylum, Hospital, and Charitable Aid.
Beef, without bone ... at per lb
Mutton, without bone ... at per lb
To be supplied to the Hospital and Lunatic Asylum alternately. The mutton to be by the whole or half carcass, as required. To the other departments as required.
Lunatic Asylum.
Rations as under, at per Ration.
Bread, 1lb; Potatoes, 1lb; Rice, 6oz.; Tea, ¼oz.; Sugar, 1¼oz.; Milk, 1 gill; Salt, ¼oz.; Butter, at per lb.
Flour, at per lb., to be substituted for Rice whenever required.
All other provisions required, not enumerated in the above, to be supplied at current rates by the Contractor.
Charitable Aid.
Rations as under; at per Ration.
Bread, 1lb; Potatoes, 1lb.; Tea, ¼oz.; Sugar, 1¼oz.
Hospital.
Rations as under, at per Ration.
