SECOND SCHEDULE.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE OCCUPATION AND PURCHASE OF THE BLOCK OF LAND PROPOSED TO BE SET ASIDE FOR SPECIAL SETTLEMENT.

The upset price of the land shall be one pound per acre, the whole amount to be paid on or before the first day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-six, in yearly payments of not less than one-fifth of the full amount of the purchase money.

In those cases where the road laborers have failed to pay the first instalment on the first day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two, they will be allowed to retain their selections of land, provided they pay on or before the first day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three, two instalments, equal to two-fifths of the purchase money, but not otherwise.

The land laws and regulations now in force in the Province of Wellington, shall be applicable to the foregoing land, except so far as they may be altered or amended by the above conditions.

I HEREBY give notice that by virtue of a Writ of Fieri Facias issued out of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, to me directed and delivered, I have caused my bailiff to enter upon part of section 150 on the plan of the city of Wellington, and being allotment 11 on the plan of the said section; bounded on the South by allotment 19, part of same section, thirty feet; on the North by Ghuznee Street, thirty feet; on the East by allotment 10, part of said section, ninety feet; and on the West by allotment 12, part of said section; being the equity of redemption (subject to two mortgages) of the above-named George Timothy Bell (such land having been taken in execution at the suit of the execution creditor), and that it is my intention to sell or cause the said property, with all buildings and appurtenances thereon, to be sold by public auction, at Thomas' Auction Mart, Wellington aforesaid, on Tuesday the thirteenth day of May, 1873, at twelve o'clock noon, unless satisfaction be sooner made of the said amount of judgment, and all further costs and expenses incidental thereto.

And I further give notice that James Gordon Allan, Esquire, of the city of Wellington, is solicitor for the plaintiff.

Warrant.

WHEREAS it has been notified to me under the hand of John Valentine Smith, Esq., Chairman of the Masterton District Highway Board, that Mr. Edwin Meredith has resigned his seat as Warden for Ward No. 7 in the said district. Now therefore, I, William Fitzherbert, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by The Highways Act, 1871, do hereby appoint that for Ward No. 7 of the Masterton Highway District, the voters qualified to vote for the election of a Warden in such Ward shall meet at the premises of Messrs. Murch and Hales, on Friday, the 4th day of April next, at 12 o'clock noon, for the purpose of electing a Warden for such Ward. And I do hereby appoint Edmond Jupp to be the Presiding Officer at the said meeting as aforesaid.

Given under my hand at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, this thirteenth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

Notice.

His Honor the Superintendent has appointed a meeting for the election of a Warden for Ward No. 7, of the Masterton Highway District, to be held at the premises of Messrs. Murch and Hales, on Friday, the 4th day of April, 1873, at twelve o'clock noon.

Edmond Jupp has been appointed Presiding Officer for such meeting as aforesaid.
