Native Land Court.

NOTICE OF TIMES AND PLACES FOR INVESTIGATING CLAIMS.

NOTICE is hereby given that the claims, on behalf of themselves and others, of the several persons whose names are mentioned in the first column of the Schedule hereunder written, to the several blocks of land, of which the names and localities are mentioned in the second column, the boundaries of which are described in the Schedule hereunder, will be investigated at Foxton, Manawatu, on the 4th of March next, and following days.

SCHEDULE.

Claimants. Land Claimed. Boundaries Translated from Claims. Place where plan will be deposited for public inspection.
Hoeta Te Rahui and Ahitana Hukarahi Tutangatakino, Otaki The boundary goes to Ori along the Otaki road, to the fence of Te Matene’s land, then turns towards the North, and stops at the fence of Te Takuta’s land, and then turns towards the boundary of Te Miromiro. If surveyed, plans may be seen on application at the Native Office, Wellington.
Matiu Putangitangi, Hapi Te Rangite-whata, and others Waopukatea, Otaki The boundary commences at Waopukatea, and goes on to Waiputukahu, then turns towards the North and goes on to Matiu’s cultivation, then turns towards the South and goes on to Hau-tere; then turns towards the North and goes on to Puhikaru’s cultivation, then turns towards the South and goes on to Parakahia, then turns towards the North-west, and goes on to Otuwhata, then turns towards the North and goes on to Te Koha, then comes back to the Katihiku River, then turns towards the North-west and goes to Karaponia, then turns towards the South and meets again at Waopukatea.
Te Rangirurupuni Kawhiu, near Horowhenua, Otaki The boundaries are shown on the map. It contains 30 acres.
Kamariera Heretaunga, Naihi Pekeia, Ngahora, and others Tana-te-Miromiro, Otaki Commences at the South and goes on to Te Ori, then turns and goes towards the North, turns again and goes Northwards, turns again and goes on till it meets on the South side.
