HIS HONOR the Superintendent has confirmed the following Construction Order, passed by the Wanganui and Waitotara Highway Board:

Highway Construction Order.

The Board having considered the several objections urged against the proposed alternative line connecting the end of the Kai-Iwi road with the Sea-beach near the mouth of the Mawhanau Stream, hereby Order the said line to be constructed according to the Plans and Sections prepared by their Engineer.

HIS HONOR the Superintendent has confirmed the following Construction Order, passed by the Wangaehu Highway Board:

Highway Construction Order.

The Wangaehu Highway Board, having duly considered the several letters sent in as objections to the proposed “Manganui” line of road, hereby order such line to be constructed according to the Drawings and Specifications prepared for it by the Board’s Engineer.

SECTION 3 of “The Volunteers’ Land Act Amendment Act, 1873,” limits the exercise of all Volunteer Scrip already issued to a period of twelve calendar months from the 2nd October, 1873.
