To be Members of the Executive Council of the Province of Wellington.

WHEREAS it has been notified to me under the hand of George Yates Lethbridge, Chairman of the Rangitikei Highway Board, that Mr. Robert Ward has resigned his seat as Warden for Ward No. 4 of the said district: Now therefore I, William Fitzherbert, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by “The Highways Act, 1871,” do hereby appoint that for Ward No. 4 of the Rangitikei Highway District, the voters qualified to vote for the election of a Warden in such Ward, shall meet at the Court House, Marton, on Friday, the seventh day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three, at 12 o’clock noon, for the purpose of electing a Warden for such Ward. And I do hereby appoint John Jordan to be the Presiding Officer at the said meeting as aforesaid.
Given under my hand at Wellington, in the Province of Wellington this tenth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

HIS Honor the Superintendent has appointed a meeting for the election of a Warden for Ward No. 4 of the Rangitikei Highway District, to be held at the Court House, Marton, on Friday, the seventh day of March, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three, at 12 o’clock noon.
John Jordan has been appointed presiding Officer for such meeting as aforesaid.
