Appointment.

Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 4th August, 1873.

His Honor the Superintendent has been pleased to appoint

Mr. Frederick France

to be Signalman at the Mount Victoria Signal Station, in the place of Mrs. France, resigned. Appointment to date from the First August, instant.

Proclamation.

By His Honor William Fitzherbert,
Esquire, C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.

WILLIAM FITZHERBERT, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby, in pursuance of the regulations in this behalf, proclaim and notify that the several allotments of land situated in the Pahaua Block, in the East Coast District, and in the Evans’ Bay District, in the Province of Wellington, and specified in the Schedule hereto, except such as may be reserved under the provision hereinafter mentioned, will be put up for sale by public auction, at the Crown Lands Office, in the City of Wellington, on Wednesday, the tenth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three, at twelve o’clock noon.

If at any time during the sale it shall appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lands beneficial or expedient for the public service to reserve from sale either of the sections specified in the said Schedule, or to vary the order in which they are to be put up, he is hereby authorized to do so.

Given under my hand, and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this eighth day of August, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.
