Notice.
Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 27th June, 1873.
IN compliance with a resolution of the Provincial Council, passed on the 15th and 17th of May, 1873, respectively, a Bonus is hereby offered for the encouragement of certain Colonial Industries, namely:
GOLD.
Bonus of £2,000.
- The bonus to be given for the discovery of a Gold Field within the Province.
- The bonus not to be given until 10,000 ounces shall have been obtained from the field.
- The bonus must be claimed before the 30th of June, 1875.
COAL.
Bonus of £500.
- The bonus to be given for the discovery of a Coal Field within the Province.
- The bonus must be claimed before the 30th of June, 1875.
COAL.
Bonus of £500.
- To be paid to any individual or company who will first import 5000 tons of New Zealand coal into the Province of Wellington, within eighteen months from Friday, 16th May, 1873.
The above rewards will be paid on the certificate of an officer appointed by Government that the conditions applicable to each reward have been complied with.

Proclamation.
By His Honor William Fitzherbert, Esquire, C.M.G., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.
I, WILLIAM FITZHERBERT, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by the Land Regulations now in force in the said Province do hereby proclaim and declare that the piece of land marked G on the plan of the Town of Wanganui, containing one acre and one rood, more or less, shall be and the same is hereby reserved as a site for the erection of buildings and places to dip and dress diseased sheep.
Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.
