Appointment.

HIS Honor the Superintendent has been pleased to appoint

JOHN KENNEDY,

to be Ferryman at the Wanganui river, near “Kennedy’s Hotel,” Upukongaro creek.

The amount of tolls to be levied at the above mentioned ferry are as follows :

Wanganui Race Course Election of Trustee.

has been elected a Trustee of the above mentioned Race Course, in the place of

And that Thomas Morgan, sen., was appointed Collector of Rates.

NOTICE has been received at this office from the Inspector of Sheep for the East Coast District, that he has granted Clean Certificates for the following flocks of sheep—

H. Dymock, Mungapu Reha, dated 2nd April, 1872.

NOTICE has been received from the Inspector of Sheep for the Wairarapa District, that he has granted Clean Certificates to the following flock owners :

J. V. Smith, Esq., Masterton, dated 29th February, 1872.

Mr. Anthony Wall, dated 11th March, 1872.

Mr. W. R. Welch, dated 24th March, 1872.

Mr. Chas. Jury, dated 25th March, 1872.

Also, that he has cancelled the clean certificate of

Messrs. Buck and Kemble, Puniti, dated 25th March, 1872.
