SHEEP INSPECTOR’S REPORT—continued.
Sir,—
I have the honor to forward my Sheep Return for the year ending May, 1872.
I am glad to report the decrease of scab in the District, which I attribute solely to the extent of fencing erected within the last two years. With the exception of three flocks I should have been able to have sent you in a clean bill of health. I believe there will be a better increase of lambs, and a better clip of wool this season than the valley ever produced before.
I have the honor to be,
Your obedient servant,
W. H. DODSON,
Inspector of Sheep.
Henry Bunny, Esq.,
Provincial Secretary, Wellington.
