I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the above is a true statement of the Receipts and Expenditure of the public revenue of the Province of Wellington, for the period commencing on the First day of April, and ending on the Thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two; and further, that the said Expenditure has been properly classified, and that any part thereof which has been incurred without authority of the Appropriation Act is separately shown.

Proclamation.

By His Honor William Fitzherbert Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.

I, WILLIAM FITZHERBERT, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand, by virtue of the powers vested in me under and by virtue of an Act of the Superintendent and Provincial Council, Session XXII, Number 6, and intituled “The Voluntary Associations Act, 1872,” DO HEREBY PROCLAIM AND DECLARE that the Association of Members now known as the “Wairarapa Institute” shall, from the date hereof, be a BODY CORPORATE under the name of the WAIRARAPA INSTITUTE, and such body shall be composed of persons contributing to the funds thereof.

And that the first meeting of such body corporate shall be held at Greytown on the second Tuesday in December next, at two o’clock in the afternoon.

Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this eighth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.
