Te Retiu, Utiku, and others | Koputaroa, part of Manawatu, Otaki | Commencing at Te Maire on the Manawatu River, it goes towards the East on the boundary of Kaihinu, land belonging to Ngatiwhakatere, on to Patara, goes along on that boundary to the ridge of Te Arapaepae, and thence to Ngapuketurua, and on to the Government boundary on Tararua, then turns towards the South and goes along that boundary until it reaches Ngatihuia's land at Pukemoremore, then turns towards the West and descends to Te Arapaepae, and then goes on to Waoku, and on to the Koputaroa River, goes along in that river to Te Aramare, it then leaves the river and goes inland to Te Totara and Ngatiti, here it turns towards the North and goes on to Kereru, then goes along on the boundary of Te Whatanui until it reaches the Taikapurna River, then goes on to Owhawaunga and Tutuhinau, then goes through the middle of the swamp called Te Waiwhakaata, then goes on to the end of the ditch round the garden of Te Kuka at Paiaka, then goes on to Pikautahi on the Manawatu River, then turns and goes up the Manawatu River until it reaches Te Maire, the commencement. |

Hema Te Ao, Ropata Te Ao, Kiharoa Mahauariki, and others | Ohau, at Ohau | The boundaries commence at Ohau, and go towards the North by the Kuratau-te-Wi swamp, then turn towards the East and go to Te Poa, Aruhetakaka, Te Hukahuka, Te Waiaruhe, Te Werawhanga, and come out at Ohau, turn then towards the West to Te Ika-a-maui, Te Kirikiri and Whareao. |
