Election of Provincial Council Member for Karori and Makara.

Wellington, May 8, 1872.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified for general information, that a writ for the Election of a Member to serve in the Provincial Council, for the Karori and Makara District, having been issued in accordance with clause 12 of “An Act to grant a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand,” the Returning Officer has returned the said writ, with a certificate that the undermentioned gentleman has been duly elected to serve as a Member of the Provincial Council for the said Karori and Makara District:—
