Proclamation.
By His Honour Isaac Earl Featherston Esquire Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in the Colony of New Zealand.
WHEREAS the Provincial Council of the Province of Wellington has been summoned to meet on Wednesday the Fifteenth day of February instant. Now therefore I Isaac Earl Featherston Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in pursuance of the power vested in me in this behalf do hereby proclaim and declare that I do hereby prorogue the said Provincial Council and do further proclaim and declare that the said Provincial Council of the Province of Wellington shall meet for the despatch of business at the Supreme Court House Wellington on Thursday the Second day of March One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one at three o’clock in the afternoon.
Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington this Third day of February One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one.

was duly elected as Collector of School Rates for the present year.
