THE following WRIT is published in
accordance with the provisions of the
"Absent Debtors Act, 1860":—
VICTORIA, by the Grace of God of
the United Kingdom of Great
Britain and Ireland, Queen.
To ALEXANDER GRAY, of Ma-
nawatu, in the Province of Welling-
ton, Settler, greeting:—
WHEREAS an action has been com-
menced in the Supreme Court of New
Zealand for the Wellington District
at Wellington, wherein FREDERICK
AUGUSTUS KRULL, of the City of
Wellington, Merchant, is plaintiff, and
ALBERT HENRY NICHOLSON,
formerly of Manawatu, aforesaid, Sheep-
farmer, but now absent from the Colony,
is defendant; and whereas it hath been
made known to us that there are money,
real and personal property belonging to
the said Albert Henry Nicholson now in
the hands or custody or under the control
of you, the said Alexander Gray; We
therefore command you that you do not
sell or otherwise dispose of or part with
the said money, real and personal property
of the said Albert Henry Nicholson, or
any part thereof, until the further order
of the said Court shall be made known
to you.

Supreme Court of our Colony of
New Zealand, the 13th day of
May, 1871.

Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 5th July, 1871.
IN accordance with the “Foxton Burial
Prevention Act, 1871,” of the Pro-
vincial Council, Session 21, it is hereby
notified that after this date any person
burying any body in the piece of land
specified in the Schedule hereto annexed,
and situated in the township of Foxton,
in the Manawatu District, is liable, on
conviction, to a fine not exceeding ten
pounds (£10) or imprisonment for any
term not exceeding three calendar months,
or to both fine and imprisonment, at the
discretion of the Court.
SCHEDULE.
All that piece or parcel of land con-
tained in section No. 97 on the plan of
the Township of Foxton, containing by
admeasurement one acre, more or less;
bounded on the North by section No. 96,
470 links; towards the East by a public
road 228 links; towards the South by a
public road 432 links; and towards the
West by a public road 260 links.
