Supreme Court.
NOTICE is hereby given that a sitting of the Circuit Court of the Supreme Court for the Wellington District of New Zealand, for the dispatch of Criminal and Civil business, will be held at the Court House, in the Supreme Court Buildings, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Tuesday, the First day of March now next, at Ten o’clock in the forenoon, pursuant to Proclamation, at which time and place all persons bound by recognizances as Prosecutors, Witnesses, or Defendants, are required to give their attendance.
Notice is hereby further given that the Civil Cases will not be called on for trial until Tuesday, the Eighth day of March now next, at Ten o’clock in the forenoon, to which time the sittings of the said Circuit Court will be adjourned after the conclusion of the Criminal Sittings.
The Supreme Court will sit in Banco on Tuesday, the Fifteenth day of March, now next, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

NOTICE is hereby given that Green N. Thomas is instructed by the Registrar of the Supreme Court, to sell by Public Auction, at Thomas’s Auction Mart, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Wednesday the 20th day of April, 1870, at 2 o’clock p.m. All that piece of land containing 100 acres, or thereabouts, situate in and being Section numbered 38 on the plan of the Ohariu District.

Sheep Inspectors’ Reports.

IT has been notified to this office by the Inspector of Sheep for the Wanganui and Rangitikei Districts, that he has inspected the sheep belonging to Messrs Owen & Lithgow, Wanganui, numbering about 9,000, and finds them free from scab.
The Inspector of Sheep for the Wellington and West Coast Districts, also reports that he has issued clean certificates for the undermentioned flocks:—
