(COPY OF SHERIFF'S NOTICE OF SALE OF REAL ESTATE IN THE TERMS OF THE ACT).

Commissioners of the Public Debts Sinking Funds, Plaintiffs,
And
Robert Sutcliffe, Defendant.

Amount Recovered, £333 6s. 8d.

I HEREBY give notice that by virtue of a Writ of Fieri Facias, issued out of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, to me directed and delivered, I have caused my Bailiff to enter upon part of section one hundred and ninety, situate in Willis street, in the City of Wellington, in the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing sixty-six feet frontage to Willis street, by a depth of one hundred and fifty-six feet, being the property in fee simple (subject to a mortgage to the Mutual Investment Society) of the above named Robert Sutcliffe (such land having been taken in execution at the suit of the execution creditors), and that it is my intention to sell or cause the said property, with all building and appurtenances thereon, to be sold by public auction, at "Thomas" Auction Mart, Wellington, aforesaid, on Monday, the 19th day of September, 1870, unless satisfaction be sooner made of the said amount of judgment, and all further costs and expenses incidental thereto. And I further give notice that Messrs. Hart & Buckley, of the City of Wellington, are Solicitors for the Plaintiffs.

Proposed alteration of Boundaries of Lower Valley Highway District.

Provincial Secretary's Office,
Wellington, June 28th, 1870.

NOTICE is hereby given that if at the expiration of six months from the publication hereof, it shall be deemed expedient to proclaim the proposed Palliser Bay District as a Highway District, the boundaries of the above District will be altered, and will be proclaimed as follows :

The boundary commences at the junction of the Huanganui River with the Ruamahunga River, thence down the Ruamahunga River to its juction with the Wairapa Lake, thence along the shore of said Lake to the Lower Ruamahunga River, which it follows to the Turanganui River, thence up the right bank of said river to its head, thence in a straight line towards the N corner of Section No. 155, Awhea Block, until it meets a line demitted from the junction of the Huanganui and Ruakupa Rivers on a magnetic bearing of 202 degrees.
