Pahautanui Highway District.

IT has been notified to this Office that at a meeting of the Ratepayers of the above district, held on the 31st May, the following persons were elected Wardens, viz :—

" C. Pyke

also that B. Draper was elected Collector of Rates, and Mr. D. Galloway, sen., and Mr. A. Flighty, Auditors.

Masterton Road District.

NOTICE is hereby given that plans of a proposed deviation of the road near the Western end of the Township of Masterton, in the above district, and estimates of the land required, and of compensation proposed to be given to the owners and occupiers of land affected by such deviation, have been deposited at this office.

A meeting of the Wardens of the Masterton Road District will be held at the School-house, Masterton, on Saturday the 6th day of August, next, at 2 o'clock p.m., to hear and answer any objections.

IT has been notified to this office by the Inspector of Sheep for the Wairarapa district, that he has cancelled the clean certificates of the following flock-owners:—

MR. ANDREW COCKBURN, Lower Manaia, dated 10th May, 1870,
And that he has granted a clean certificate to

MR. J. D. BAIRD, Otaria Station, dated 4th June, 1870.
