Division of the “Makara School District” into the “North Makara School District” and the “South Makara School District.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the district hitherto known as the “Makara School District” has this day been divided into the “North Makara School District” and the “South Makara School District,” the dividing line commencing at the South Western corner of Section No. 22, and running along its Western and Northern boundaries, to its intersection with Section 24, thence along the Western boundary of Sections 24 and 26, thence along the Northern boundaries of Sections 26 and 27, and thence along the Western boundaries of Section 40, to its Northern extremity.

IT has been notified to this Office by the Inspector of Sheep, in the Wairarapa District, that on the 15th Inst., he cancelled the clean certificate held by Messrs. Tully and Smith of Huangaroa.

IT has been notified to this office by Mr. D. Galloway, Chairman of School Committee, that at an adjourned meeting held on the 11th January, MR. JOSEPH PAYTON was elected Collector of Rates for the above district in place of Mr. C. Stuart, resigned.
