Surveyed Lands open for Selection and Purchase at the Crown Lands’ Office, Wellington.

In addition to the lands enumerated in the following Schedule the undermentioned blocks of unsurveyed land are open for selection, without competition, at 10s. per acre; or they may be applied for at 7s. 6d. per acre, in blocks of not less than 640 acres, subject to the provisions of "The Wellington Waste Lands Amendment Act, 1855."

In the Wellington Country Districts about 160,000 acres, the larger portion lying between the Wainuiomata, Lowry Bay, and Wairarapa Districts, and the remainder between and adjacent to the Country Districts surrounding the Town of Wellington.

Wainui Block, West Coast, about 25,000 acres situated between the West Coast and the Middle Wairarapa District.

Wairarapa and East Coast about 470,000 acres situated at the head of the Wairarapa Valley, and in the Whareama, Awhea, Tiraumea, and Akitio Blocks, East Coast.
