School Rate Collectors.

IT has been notified to this office that
MR. STEPHEN CARRICK
has been appointed Collector of School Rates for the Lower Tutaenui School District for the ensuing year, vice
MR. JOHN SMITH
resigned, and that
MR. H. A. WHITE
has been appointed Collector of School Rates for the Kaiwarra-warra School District for the ensuing year.

Sheep Inspector’s Report.

THE Inspector of Sheep in the Wanganui-Rangitikei District reports that on the 9th instant he granted clean certificates to
Mr. Adam Keir, and
Mr. Charles Benfield.
Also, that on the 15th instant he cancelled the clean certificate held by
Mr. Alexander Winks,
Sheep from Messrs. Stevens & Fraser’s flock having mixed with his.
The Inspector of Sheep in the Wairarapa District reports that he has granted clean certificates as follows :--
On the 19th inst., to Mr. Jos. Bennett
,, 21st ,, R. Collins
,, ,, ,, Dakin
,, ,, ,, R. Edwards
,, ,, ,, C. Edwards,
and that on the 20th inst. he cancelled the clean certificate held by
Messrs. Buck,
sheep from the flock of Mr. McMasters having mixed with their sheep.

IT has been reported to this office by the Inspector of Sheep for the Wairarapa and East Coast District that the clean certificate held by
Mr. J. V. Smith, Opaki,
was cancelled on the 28th December last a sheep from Mr. Cundy’s flock having mixed with his flock.
Also that clean certificates have been granted to the undermentioned.

Lost Land Orders.
I, DAVID LEWIS, a Commissioner duly appointed by virtue of an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled “The Lost Land Orders Act, 1861,” to hear and decide Claims for Crown Grants of Lands for which the original Land Orders have been lost or destroyed, report that the claims of George Palmer, of Nazing Park, County of Surrey, in England, having been referred to me by command of the Governor, I do hereby decide that the aforesaid claimant is entitled to a Crown Grant of the Land referred to in the annexed Schedule.
