In re Joseph McGiffert Cleland, Plaintiff; and John McManaway, Defendant.

Amount recovered, £57 19s. 6d.

I HEREBY give notice, that by virtue of a Writ of Fieri Facias to me directed, I have caused my Bailiff to enter upon Section number thirty-five on the official plan of the District of Makara, in the Province of Wellington, containing one hundred acres, more or less, situated at Makara, in the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand, and being the freehold property of the above-named Defendant, John McManaway (such land having been taken in execution at the suit of the execution creditor), and that it is my intention to sell, or cause the said property to be sold by public auction, at Thomas’s Auction Mart, Lambton Quay, in the city of Wellington, on Saturday, the 11th day of December, 1869, at two o’clock, p.m., unless satisfaction be sooner made of said amount of judgment and all further costs and expenses incidental thereto.

And I further give notice that Mr. Frank Morton Ollivier, of the City of Wellington, is the Solicitor for the Plaintiff.

Sheep Inspectors’ Reports.

Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 21st Oct., 1869.

IT has been notified to this office by the Inspector of Sheep for the East Coast District, that he has cancelled the clean certificates held by the following persons:

On the 16th September, Mr. D. Cameron, of Blairlogie, a scabby sheep having strayed into his flock from the estate of the late Mr. Buxton.

On 24th September, Messrs. R. & F. Maunsell, having received notice from them of scab being in their flock.

THE Inspector of Sheep in the West Coast District, reports that he has given clean certificates as under:

On the 13th Inst., to Mr. W. T. Owen, Wangaehu, for a separate flock of 3500.

On the 14th Inst., Mr. D. Fraser, Rangitikei, for a separate flock of 500 Wethers.

On the 21st Inst., Mr. W. J. Holder and Mr. J. W. Baker.
