Adjustment of the Boundary Line between the Mataongaonga and Makirikiri Highway District.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston Esquire Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in the Colony of New Zealand.

I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in virtue of the powers vested in me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that from and after the date hereof the adjusted boundary line between the Mataongaonga and Makirikiri Highway Districts shall be the Kukuta stream from the river bank to the north east angle of the Waipakura Reserve following the south line of Mr. Greenway’s (late Mr. Speed’s) land as far as the Tawai tree and from thence to Oeta Wangaehu as the same is more particularly delineated and described in the plan drawn or endorsed hereon and colored red, and that the lands included in the said districts be extended or otherwise accordingly.

Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington at Wellington this tenth day of September one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.

Kaitoki Highway District.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston Esquire Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in the Islands of New Zealand.

I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in virtue of the powers vested in me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the parts of the Province lying within the limits hereinafter specified shall form and constitute a district for the purposes of the District Highways Act, namely bounded towards the north by the southern boundary of the Matarawa Road District, namely by the southern boundary of section No. 33 and by the said southern boundary produced in a westerly direction through the Putiki Native Reserve to the river Wanganui; and by the southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 34 35 36 37 38 39 40 41 42 136 132 183 134 135 177 179 180 189 190 and by the said southern boundaries produced in an easterly direction through section No. 248 to the river Wangaehu; towards the south east by the river Wangaehu; towards the south west by the sea; and towards the north west by the river Wanganui; as the district and limits are more particularly delineated and described in the plan drawn or endorsed hereon and colored red, and such Highway district shall be called "The Kaitoki Highway District."

Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington at Wellington this thirteenth day of September one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine.
