It has been notified to this office that at the Annual Meeting held on the 15th instant, at the residence of Mr. A. Cameron, the following were elected a Committee for the above District, viz.:

PROCLAMATION

By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherson, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.

ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON Superintendent of the Province of Wellington do hereby in virtue of the powers vested in me in this behalf by the “Superintendent’s Deputy Act, 1856” of the General Assembly of New Zealand proclaim and appoint

WILLIAM WARING TAYLOR, Esq., J.P., M.H.R.,
of Wellington, to be Deputy and as such to perform and exercise all such acts and powers as by the said Act I am empowered to confer upon a Deputy.

Given under my hand at Wellington, this twenty-third day of July one thousand eight hundred and sixty-nine and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington.
