Crown Grants.

I.

DAVID LEWIS, a Commissioner duly appointed by virtue of the Ordinance, No. 15, Session XI., of the Legislative Council of the Islands of New Zealand, to hear and decide Claims to Land by persons claiming Title thereto from, through, or under the New Zealand Company, report that the Claims of the under-mentioned persons having been duly referred to me for investigation, I do hereby decide that the said persons are respectively entitled to Crown Grants of the land set against their names in the annexed Schedule.

Subject, nevertheless, as to the selection of the said Land Orders, to the provisions of Clause II., "Land Orders and Scrip Act, 1858." Also subject to a direction of the Commissioner.
1469 1707 Barbara Hutchinson Entitled to a Crown Grant of Section No. 387 on the Plan of the City of Wellington, formerly reported in favour of John Edward Wainhouse. No. of Report, 1,367. The legal estate to vest in Claimant from the 5th day of May, 1865.
1470 1407 John Getty Entitled to Crown Grants of Section No. 132, right bank of the Wanganui River; and to 1 Acre, part of Section No. 21, of the right bank of the river. Subject to a direction of the Commissioner.
1471 1493 Thomas Ballardie Taylor and William Hogg Watt Entitled to a Crown Grant of the Rural Section No. 108, on the Plan of the right bank of the Wanganui River.
1472 1435 David Atkinson Entitled to a Crown Grant of the western half of Section No. 125, on the Plan of the Township of Wanganui.
1473 1506 John Lee Entitled to a Crown Grant of the eastern half of Section No. 126, on the Plan of the Township of Wanganui.
1474 1703 William Paterson Entitled to a Crown Grant of the Rural Sections No. 81, 82, 83, and 84, on the left bank of the Wanganui River.
1475 1432 Thomas Ballardie Taylor and William Hogg Watt Entitled to a Crown Grant of the Rural Section No. 139, on the Plan of the left bank of the Wanganui River.
1476 1113 Peirce Cotter Entitled to a Crown Grant of Section No. 146, on the Plan of the City of Wellington.

By virtue of the fifteenth clause of the New Zealand Company’s Land Claimants Ordinance, Session XI., No. 15, I do hereby report that it is expedient that the legal estate in the land specified in a Report dated 15th June, 1868, No. 1442, in favour of James Johnson, should be deemed to have been in the Claimant from and after the 24th day of October, 1858.
