Appointment of Provincial Secretary and Treasurer.

Arthur Follett Halcombe, Esq.,
to be Provincial Secretary and Treasurer of the Province of Wellington, and a Member of the Executive thereof.

Upper Rangitikei Road District.

IT has been notified to this office, under the hand of the undermentioned Chairman, that at a meeting of Ratepayers of the Upper Rangitikei Road District held on the 9th January, the following were elected a Board of Wardens for the ensuing two years, viz:—

W. Henderson
R. Hammond
W. Galpin, jun.
P. Bremer
Geo. Roberts, Chairman,

and also that

Mr. Charles Thorns

has been appointed Collector of Rates to the said Board.

Masterton School District.

Provincial Secretary’s Office,

NOTICE has been given to this office that at a public meeting of electors held at the Schoolhouse, Masterton, on the 17th inst., the following gentlemen were elected a School Committee:—

Mr. James Russell
Mr. Robt. Hare
Mr. Walter Perry
Mr. Geo. Woodriffe
Mr. A. W. Renall

and that Mr. A. W. Renall was appointed Chairman; Mr. Robt. Hare, Treasurer; and Mr. Henry Bentley, Collector.
