NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Wardens of the Mataongaonga District have deposited in this Office a Survey plan, &c., of the intended Long Acre Valley Road, and the No. 3 Line in the said Mataongaonga District; and the said Board of Wardens is of opinion that no compensation to Landholders is necessary.

Between Wiremu Tako Ngatata and Mere Tako Ngatata, Plaintiffs, and Manihera te Toru, Defendant.

On Friday, the fifteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven,
On reading the affidavit of Mr. Charles Beard Izard, and on hearing Mr. Izard of counsel for the Plaintiffs, and Mr. Buckley of counsel for the Defendant, and by consent it is ordered that the following issues, namely:—

  1. Did the Defendant break and enter the piece of land in the declaration mentioned.
  2. Was the said piece of land at the time of the alleged breaking and entering in the possession of Plaintiffs or of the Defendant.
  3. Was the said piece of land the land of the Plaintiffs or of the Defendant.

Be tried in the Native Land Court at such sitting as shall be appointed by the said Court for the hearing thereof.

Notice is hereby given that the said issues in the above-named action will be heard and determined at Wellington on the 2nd day of April next and following days.
