NOTICE is hereby given that a Sitting of the Supreme Court for the Wellington District of New Zealand for the Dispatch of Business accruing under the "Bankruptcy Act, 1867," and the "Bankruptcy Act Amendment Act, 1868," will be held at the Supreme Court House, Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Wednesday, the 16th day of December, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon.

Amalgamation of the Karori, South Karori, North Makara, and South Makara Road Districts.

APPLICATIONS having been made to this office for the amalgamation of the Karori, South Karori, North Makara, and South Makara Road Districts, notice is hereby given that at the expiration of six months from this date His Honor the Superintendent will accede to the application unless sufficient cause be then shown to the contrary.

Appointment of Inspector of Sheep and Registrar of Cattle, Horse and Sheep Brands, Wanganui.

HIS HONOR the Superintendent has been pleased to appoint Mr. R. K. Sprosen, Sub-Inspector of Sheep, and Registrar of Cattle, Horse, and Sheep Brands, in the Wanganui and West Coast District. Appointment to date from 1st November, 1868.

Tawa Flat School District.

NOTICE has been given to this office by the undersigned chairman that at the annual meeting of the Tawa Flat School Committee, held on the 9th inst., the following gentlemen were elected as the Committee for the ensuing year, viz. —

  • Mr. James Taylor, Treasurer
  • Eli Allen
  • Thomas Marshall
  • James Pask
  • Francis Greer, Collector
  • William Cott

And that Mr. Francis Greer was elected Collector of the House Rate, made at the said meeting.
