I, the undersigned, do hereby certify that the above is a true abstract of the Receipts and Expenditure of the Public Revenue of the Province of Wellington, for the period commencing on the First day of April, and ending on the Thirtieth day of June, One thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight, and further that the said Expenditure has been properly classified, and that any part thereof which has been incurred without authority of the Appropriation Act is separately shown.

NOTICE has been given to this office under the hand of the undermentioned Chairman that at an annual meeting of Ratepayers of the above District held at the house of Mr. Charles Freeth, Turakina, on Tuesday, the 7th day of August, 1868, the following ratepayers were elected Wardens for the ensuing twelve months, viz.:

Christopher Parker
Peter Chapman
Daniel McIvor
John Glasgow, Chairman.

NOTICE has been given to this office under the hand of the newly elected Chairman that at an annual meeting of the Ratepayers of the above District held at the Ben Nevis Hotel, Turakina, on the 12th August, 1868,

Mr. James Bruce, Junr.,
was elected as member of the Board of Wardens vice Mr James Bruce, senr., resigned; also, that at a subsequent meeting of the Board of Wardens,

Mr. George Yates Lethbridge
was appointed Chairman of the Board, vice Mr James Bruce, senr., resigned.
