Act and may in like manner appoint sus-
pend remove and re-appoint keepers of
such Pounds Now therefore I Isaac Earl
Featherston Superintendent of the said
Province do hereby proclaim the Stockyard
on the property of Angus M’Master at or
near to Tu Puru Puru in the Wairarapa
District in the province of Wellington
aforesaid to be a Public Pound within the
meaning of the said Act and that Hugh
M’Master be the keeper thereof.

under the hand of the undermentioned
Chairman that at a meeting of the
Ratepayers of the above District held on
the 28th July, 1868, the following were
elected a Board of Wardens for the ensuing
two years, viz.:

Sittings of the Supreme Court of

New Zealand.

NOTICE is hereby given that a Sitting
of the Circuit Court of the Supreme
Court for the Wellington District of New
Zealand, for the despatch of Criminal and
Civil business, will be holden at the Court
House, in the Supreme Court Buildings,
Lambton Quay, Wellington, on Tuesday,
the first day of September next, at ten
o’clock in the forenoon, pursuant to procla-
mation, at which time and place all per-
sons bound by recognizances, prosecutors,
witnesses, or defendants are required to
give their attendance.

Notice is hereby further given that the
Civil Cases will not be called on for trial
until Tuesday the eighth day of September
next, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, to
which time the sittings of the said Circuit
Court will be adjourned after the conclu-
sion of the Criminal business.

The Supreme Court will sit in Banco on
Tuesday the fifteenth day of September
next, at eleven o’clock in the forenoon.

Sheep Inspectors’ Reports.

IT has been notified to this office by the
Sub-Inspector of Sheep for the Welling-
ton District that a flock of wethers
depasturing in a separate paddock in the
village of Richmond, Lower Hutt, rented
by Arthur Braithwaite, Esq., has been
reported scabby.
