Boundaries of Township of Alfredton.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherson, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.

I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in pursuance of the power vested in me by Clause II of the Additional Land Regulations, of the fifteenth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and fifty-five, do hereby proclaim and notify that the block of land situate in the East Coast District, and comprised within the following boundaries, viz:—The boundary commences at the North West corner of Section No. 1, thence Easterly to its North East corner, thence South Easterly along the North East boundaries of Sections Nos. 17, 18, 10, 20, 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 183, 184, 185, 186, 187, 188, 189, and 190, thence South Westerly along the South East boundaries of Sections Nos. 190, 176, 174, and 159, thence North Westerly along the South West boundaries of Sections Nos. 159 and 160, thence South Westerly along the South East boundary of Section No. 158, thence North Westerly along the South West boundaries of Sections Nos. 158, 157, 156, 155, 154, and 153, thence North Easterly along the North West boundary of Section No. 153, thence North Westerly along the Southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 100, 99, 98, 97, 96, 95, 94, 93, 92, 91, 90, 89, 88, 87, 86, 85, 84, 83, 82, 81, 80, and 79, to the South West corner of said Section No. 79, thence South Easterly along the Eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 127, 128, 133, 134, 139, 140, 145, 146, 150, and 151, thence South Westerly along the Southern boundaries of Sections Nos. 151 and 152, thence North Westerly along the Western boundary of Section No. 152 and 149, thence South Westerly along the Southern boundary of Section No. 148 to its South West corner, thence North Westerly to the North West corner of Section No. 112, thence North Easterly to the Northern corner of Section No. 101, thence South Easterly along the North Eastern boundary of the said Section No. 101 to the Ihuranua River, thence down the Ihuranua River to its junction with the Te Hoe River, thence down the Te Hoe River till it meets the North West boundary of William Fisher’s selection of fifty acres; thence along the said North West boundary and its North East boundary to the Eastern corner of the said William Fisher’s selection, thence in a straight line to the starting point; computed to contain about ten thousand one hundred and forty-four (10,144) acres, and which said boundaries are particularly delineated in the plan annexed hereto, shall be reserved as a site for a Small Farm Settlement, and be known as the township of Alfredton.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this second day of June, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-eight.
