Moroa Road District.

ELECTION OF WARDENS.

Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 31st October, 1867.

NOTICE has been given to this office under the hand of the undermentioned Chairman, that at a meeting of the Ratepayers of the above district, held at the Moroa Schoolhouse, on the 26th October, 1867, the following gentlemen were elected members of the Board of Wardens for the ensuing two years, viz:—

Mr. Laird Barratt
Mr. Duncan Cameron
Mr. John Hodge
Mr. Thomas Kempton, jun.
Mr. Richard Wakelin, Chairman.

Waihenga Ferryman Appointed.

HIS Honor the Superintendent has been pleased to appoint

Mr. Edward Harris,

to be Ferryman at Waihenga, in the stead of Mr. William Field resigned.

Notice to Licensed Surveyors of the Native Lands Court.

General Crown Lands Office,
Wellington, 13th November, 1867.

AFTER this date no plans in connection with the Native Lands Court will be received at this office, from Licensed Surveyors, for transmission to the Chief Provincial Surveyor for examination, nor after such examination for transmission to the Native Lands Court.
