Taratahi Road District.
PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Islands of New Zealand.
I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in virtue of the powers vested in me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the parts of the Province lying within the limits hereinafter specified shall form and constitute a District for the purposes of the District Highways Act, namely:
All the land of the Taratahi Block situated between the Rivers Waiohine and Waingawa, from the hills to the River Ruamahunga. Excepting always so much of the land comprised within the above limits as is comprised in the Carterton Highway District, proclaimed on the twenty-sixth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and sixty four.
As the said District and limits hereby proclaimed are more particularly delineated and described in the plan drawn or endorsed hereon and thereon coloured red.
And such Highway District shall be called the Taratahi Road District.
Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this first day of August, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven.

Greytown Road District.
PROCLAMATION.
By His Honor ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Islands of New Zealand.
I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in virtue of the powers vested in me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the parts of the Province lying within the limits hereinafter specified, shall form and constitute a District for the purposes of the "District Highways Act," namely:
The lower boundary to follow the southern or lower side of the Tauherenikau into the Lake, thence on the East side of the Lake until its junction with the Ruamahunga River, thence up that River to the mouth or outlet of the Waiohine River, thence up that River, the Waiohine, to the hills and thence across, for the western boundary, under the hills to the Tauherenikau. Excepting always so much of the land comprised within the above limits as is comprised in the Morea Highway District, proclaimed on the twentieth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and sixty six.
As the said District and limits hereby proclaimed are more particularly delineated and described in the plan drawn or endorsed hereon and thereon coloured red.
And such Highway District shall be called the Greytown Road District.
Given under my hand and issued under the public seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this first day of August, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven.

Alteration of Boundaries of the Carterton School District.
Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, 30th July, 1867.
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made to His Honor the Superintendent to alter the boundaries of the Carterton School District in accordance with the following description, viz., to commence at the junction of the Mungaturera Stream with the Waiohine River, thence up the Mungaturera stream until it meets a line being a continuation of the southern boundary of the sections 172, 145, 171, 89, and 1, Taratahi Plain Block, thence along the said line to the south-eastern corner of section No. 1, Taratahi Plain Block, thence on a magnetic bearing of 215° 31' until it strikes the Waiohine River; thence along the Waiohine River to the starting point. And notice is hereby further given in compliance with the provisions of the "Education Act Amendment Act, 1867" that at the expiration of six months from this date the Carterton School District will be altered accordingly, unless in the meantime sufficient cause be shown to the contrary.

Alteration of Boundaries of Pahautanui School District.

Wellington, 30th July, 1867.
NOTICE is hereby given that application has been made to His Honor the Superintendent to proclaim the district, known as the Horokiwi Road District, to be a school district, and that as such proclamation will affect the boundaries of the Pahautanui School District, notice is hereby further given in compliance with the provisions of the "Education Act Amendment Act, 1867" that at the expiration of six months from this date the proposed district will be proclaimed a school district, unless in the meantime sufficient cause be shown to the contrary.
