Election of Provincial Council Member for West Wairarapa.

HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT directs it to be notified for general information that a Writ for the election of a Member to serve in the Provincial Council for West Wairarapa, having been issued in accordance with Clause 12 of “An Act to grant a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand,” the Returning Officer has returned the said Writ, with a certificate that the under-mentioned Gentleman has been duly elected to serve as member of the said Provincial Council for West Wairarapa,

of Masterton, described on the Electoral Roll for the said Electoral District as ALFRED RENALL, place of abode, Hutt.

NOTICE has been given to this Office, under the hand of the undermentioned Chairman, that at the annual meeting of the Ratepayers in the Kahauraponga Road District, held at the premises of Mr. W. H. Crawford, on the 16th instant, the following persons were appointed a Board of Wardens for that district, viz.:
