SALE OF VALUABLE BUILDING

ALLOTMENTS

ON THE

RECLAIMED LAND,

IN THE TOWN OF WELLINGTON,

New Zealand.

UNDER authority of an Act, Session III, No. 14, of the Provincial Council of Wellington, entitled “Harbor Reserves,” and of an Act, Session VIII, No. 3, of the said Provincial Council, entitled “Harbor Reserves Amendment,” and of an Act, Session XIII, No. 3, of the said Provincial Council, entitled “Reclaimed Land,” Notice is hereby given that the allotments of land enumerated in the Schedule hereunto annexed, situate in the Town of Wellington, will be offered for sale as public auction, at Osgood’s Long Room, Empire Hotel, on THURSDAY, the 6th day of NOVEMBER, 1866, AT 1 o’clock p.m., at the upset prices affixed in the Schedule.

Immediate payment in cash of one-tenth of the purchase money shall be the condition of any such sale by auction, and the remaining nine-tenths of the purchase money must be paid by the purchaser within one calendar month next after the time of such sale by auction, or the one-tenth of the purchase money which has been deposited will be forfeited; and the original contract for the sale of this land will thenceforward be null and void.

The Government reserves to itself the right of, at any time, withdrawing and altering the size of any of the allotments.

Any further conditions will be published on or before the day of sale. Any information may, in the meantime, be obtained at the Office of the Provincial Secretary, Wellington. Lithographed Maps of the land for sale may be obtained of Mr. Lyon, Bookseller, Willis-street, at the price of 1s. each.
