Appointment of W. W. Taylor, Esq., as Deputy Superintendent.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.

I, ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby, in virtue of the powers vested in me for this behalf by the "Superintendent's Deputy Act, 1856" of the General Assembly of New Zealand, proclaim and appoint

WILLIAM WARING TAYLOR, Esq., J.P., M.H.R. of Wellington, to be Deputy, and as such to perform and exercise all such acts and powers as by the said Act I am empowered to confer upon a Deputy.

Given under my hand at Kakaramea this tenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six, and sealed under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington.

Sale of Crown Land in the Akiteo District.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor William Waring Taylor, Esquire, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in the Colony of New Zealand.

I, WILLIAM WARING TAYLOR, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby, in pursuance of the Regulations in this behalf, Proclaim and Notify that the several allotments of land situated in the Akiteo Block in the East Coast District in the Province of Wellington and specified in the Schedule hereto except such as may be reserved under the Provision hereafter mentioned, will be put up for sale by Public Auction at the Crown Lands Office in the Town of Wellington on Thursday the 1st day of February 1866 at one o'clock in the afternoon.

If at any time during the sale it may appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lands beneficial or expedient for the Public Service to reserve from sale either of the sections specified in the said Schedule or to vary the areas in which they are to be put up, he is hereby authorized to do so.

Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington at Wellington this the tenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six.
