Land in Hutt Valley open for Selection.

PROCLAMATION

By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington in the Colony of New Zealand.

ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby proclaim and notify that all that block of land in the Rangitiki District in the Province of Wellington being part of the Agricultural Reserve No. 2 bounded North by Crown Land and by land already selected or applied for East by land selected by John M'Beth and by block No. LVI., South by blocks Nos. LXXIV. and LXXV. and by land selected by Archibald Cameron and West by land applied for by James Allison and containing about One thousand three hundred acres more or less will be open for purchase and selection at the Crown Lands Office Wellington on and after Tuesday the thirtieth day of January one thousand eight hundred and sixty-six under the Land Regulations of the Province of Wellington.

Given under my hand, and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington at Wellington this Twenty-first day of December One thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.

Town at Masterton.

PROCLAMATION

By His Honor Isaac Earl Featherston, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act of the Provincial Council of the Province of Wellington Session 18, No. 8 intituled “An Act to amend and consolidate the Law relating to Cattle Trespass and Impounding,” it is enacted first the Superintendent of the said Province may from time to time by Proclamation declare any Pounds to be or cease to be Public Pounds within the meaning of the said Act and may in like manner appoint... acres... square... as Public Pounds...

Now therefore I, Isaac Earl Featherston, the said Superintendent, do hereby proclaim the piece of ground recently enclosed on the premises of Pargill and Gray in the township of Masterton in the Province of Wairarapa to be a Public Pound within the meaning of the said Act and that Farguhar Gray of the Keeper thereof.

Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington at Wellington this Twenty-first day of December One thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.
