NOTICE is hereby given that C. D. R. Ward, Esq., Returning Officer, has intimated to His Honor the Superintendent that the following gentlemen have been elected to serve as Commissioners of the Town Board of the City of Wellington, viz.:—
For Thorndon Ward
Messrs. Charles Bonnythorn Borlase, George Hart, and Richard Collins.
For Lambton Ward
Messrs. John Plimmer, William Bishop, and Edward W. Mills.
For Te Aro Ward
Messrs. Joe Dransfield, Stephen Simeox Jacks, and Michael Quin.

In the Supreme Court of New Zealand, Middle District.
In the matter of the Petition of
DANIEL JAMES HEALY, of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand, grocer and general wine and spirit merchant:
And in the matter of “The Debtors’ and Creditors’ Act, 1862.”
NOTICE is hereby given that the said Daniel James Healy did, on the first day of September instant, present his petition praying for the sequestration of his estate for the benefit of all his creditors, and for relief according to the provisions of the said Act; and that the said petition has been accepted by His Honor Mr. Justice Johnston, who has appointed the eighth day of November next, at ten o’clock in the forenoon, for the hearing thereof, at which time and place all parties concerned are to attend.

NOTICE has been given to this office, under the hand of the undernamed chairman, that at a meeting of ratepayers held on the 1st instant, the following persons were elected a Board of Wardens for the Wainui-o-mata Road District for the ensuing two years, viz.:—
