Notice of Assignment of G. M. Clarke.


NOTICE is hereby given that, by deed bearing date the seventh day of July, 1865, and expressed to be made between George Masterton Clarke, heretofore of Kaipoi, in the Province of Canterbury, in the Colony of New Zealand, schoolmaster, since of the same place auctioneer, and now of Wellington, in the same Colony, solicitor’s clerk, of the one part, and Robert Rodger Strang, of Wellington aforesaid, Registrar of the Supreme Court there, of the other part: Pursuant to the order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand therein recited the said George Masterton Clarke assigned to the said Robert Rodger Strang, as such Registrar, and his assigns, certain debts and credits in the schedule to the said deed mentioned, in trust, after payment of the expenses of collecting and getting in the said debts, to divide the net proceeds thereof between the several creditors of the said George Masterton Clarke named in the schedule to his petition therein mentioned, who should within three months after notice of the said assignment should have been published in the General Government Gazette, and the Gazettes of the Provinces of Wellington and Canterbury, come in and prove their debts at Wellington aforesaid, rateably and in proportion to the amount of their debts.
