Alteration of the Tukapu Highway District.
PROCLAMATION
By His Honor ISAAC EARL FEATHERSTON, Esquire, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.
WHEREAS, by a Proclamation issued under the hand of His Honor the said Superintendent and the Public Seal of the Province, on the seventh day of November, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-four, the Tukapu District, sections numbers nineteen (19) and twenty-three (23) Horokiwi Road District, and so much of sections numbers thirty-five (35), thirty-seven (37), and thirty-nine (39), Porirua District as might be required for the road, was declared to be a Highway District within the meaning of the Acts then in force for the management of District Roads, by the style or title of “The Tukapu Highway District;” and, whereas, it is expedient to alter the said District:
Now, therefore, I, Isaac Earl Featherston, Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby, in exercise of the powers in me vested in that behalf, proclaim and declare that henceforth so much only of the Tukapu District as comprises sections numbers one (1) to twenty (20) on the plan of the said District shall continue to be part of the said “Tukapu Highway District,” and the residue of the said Tukapu District shall henceforth cease to be comprised within the said “Tukapu Highway District.”
Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the (L.S.) Province of Wellington, this fourth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.

Election of Board of Wardens for the Matarawa Road District.
Provincial Secretary’s Office,
Wellington, July 5th, 1865.
NOTICE has been given to this office by the hand of the undermentioned Chairman, that at a meeting held at the Lion Hotel, Left Bank, Wanganui, on the 8th day of June last, the following rate-payers were elected a Board of Wardens for the Matarawa Road District, viz.:
