Election of Wardens for the
Lower Waiwetu District.

NOTICE has been given to this Office,
under the hand of the undermentioned Chairman, that at the Annual
Meeting held on the 27th May, 1865, the
following Ratepayers were elected a
Board of Wardens, viz. :—

D. WEST.

Member for the District of
Rangitikei.

HIS HONOR THE SUPERINTENDENT
directs it to be notified for
general information, that a writ for the
election of a Member to serve in the
Provincial Council for the District of
Rangitikei having been issued in accordance with clause 12 of "an Act to grant
a Representative Constitution to the
Colony of New Zealand," the Returning
officer has returned the said writ, with a
certificate that the undermentioned gentleman has been duly elected to serve as
Member of the said Provincial Council
for the said District of Rangitikei.
