Notice to Mariners.

Manukau Harbour.
NOTICE is hereby given that the inner fair way buoy in the South Channel of the Manukau has been removed, and a cone buoy with a barrel beacon on top and painted red has been placed in 4 fathoms, distant from the N. E. end of Treachery Shoal about one cable. This buoy should be left on the Starboard hand going in.

Public Notice.

Crown Lands’ Office,
Wellington, January 5, 1865.

WHEREAS a Notice was issued from this Office, dated 16th November, 1864, throwing open for selection on the 13th January, 1865, about 1500 acres of land, being part of the Agricultural Block, No. 2 in the Rangitiki District.

And whereas certain alterations have been made in the boundaries of the said land, the amended description of which are as follows, viz.:—North by other part of the said Reserve and by a Bush Reserve of 200 acres, East by Blocks LXXIV, LXXIII, and LXXI, South by a fence erected by Mr. Benjamin Smith by the Mangawera Stream and by the said Bush Reserve, and West by the said Bush Reserve and by the boundary of the Turakina District.

Notice is hereby given that the time for receiving application for the said land has been extended to Tuesday, the 14th of February next, on which day the land will be open for selection under the Land Regulations now in force in the Province of Wellington.
