Entitled to Crown Grants.


New Zealand Company’s Land Claimant’s Office,
Wellington, 3rd March, 1865.

DAVID LEWIS, a Commissioner duly appointed by virtue of the Ordinance,
No. 15, Session XI., of the Legislative Council of the Islands of New Zealand to
hear and decide claims to land by persons claiming title thereto from, through, or under
the New Zealand Company, Report that the Claims of the undermentioned persons
having been duly referred to me for investigation, I do hereby decide that the said
persons are respectively entitled to Crown Grants of the Land set against their names
in the annexed Schedule.

1361 1092 Robert Suckling Cheeseman Entitled to a Crown Grant of part of section No. 70 in the City of Wellington, viz:—Lots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the subdivision of the section.
1362 1637 Mary Leach Entitled to a Crown Grant of allotments Nos. 75 & 76, part of rural section No. 1, Harbour District, commonly called Wade’s Town.
1363 1391 William Adye Entitled to a Crown Grant of seventy five acres of rural land in the District of Rangitikei.

Commissioner’s Report under the “Lost Land Orders Act, 1861.”

DAVID LEWIS, a Commissioner duly appointed by virtue of an Act of the
General Assembly of New Zealand, entitled “The Lost Land Orders Act, 1861,”
to hear and decide Claims for Crown Grants of Lands for which the original Land
Orders have been lost or destroyed, report that the claims of

Robert Suckling Cheeseman, of Wellington, and
Mary Leach, of Wellington, and
William Adye, of Yass District, New South Wales,

having been referred to me by command of the Governor, I do hereby decide that the
aforesaid Claimants are entitled to Crown Grants of the land set against their names as
he annexed Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

Robert Suckling Cheeseman ... Entitled to a Crown Grant of part of Section No. 70,
on the Plan of the City of Wellington, in the
Province of Wellington.

Mary Leach ... Entitled to a Crown Grant of part of Section No. 1,
Harbour District, in the Province of Wellington.

William Adye ... Entitled to a Crown Grant of 75 acres of rural land in
the Province of Wellington, subject to Clause II.
of the “Land Orders and Scrip Act, 1858.”
