I, Thomas Hill, do solemnly and sincerely declare that the foregoing is a true and faithful statement of my Account as Acting Collector of Customs for the period herein mentioned, and that the sum of £12,898 8s. 11d. sterling paid by myself, S. Carkeek, and William Seed, Esqs., is the whole amount so received by us from the 1st January to the 31st day of March, 1865, both days inclusive, and I do make this solemn declaration, conscientiously believing the same to be true.
