Middle Waiwetu Road District.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Charles William Schultze, Esquire, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act of the Provincial Council of the Province of Wellington, Session IX., No. 10, intituled the “District Highways Act, 1862,” it was enacted that the Superintendent might for the purpose of the said Act from time to time by Proclamation divide the Province or any part thereof into Districts, and in like manner subdivide, alter, or re-unite the same; and whereas by another Act of the said Council, Session X. No. 4, the said Act was amended: Now, therefore, I, Charles William Schultze, Deputy Superintendent of the said Province, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land bounded as follows, that is to say, North, commencing at the north-west corner of section twenty-nine, thence along the northern boundary of the said section to section thirty-three, along the western boundary line of said section thirty-three and along the southern boundary line of the Upper Waiwetu District to Swan’s selection, then northward along the western and northern boundary lines of Swan’s selection aforesaid. East, by the eastern boundary line of Swan’s said selection and of section twenty-seven. South, the southern boundary lines of sections twenty-seven and twenty-six, thence along the western boundary of section twenty-six to the southern boundary of section twenty-nine and along the southern boundary of said section to its western boundary. West, by the western boundary of section twenty-nine, and more particularly delineated on the plan attached hereto, shall form and constitute a district for the purposes of the said Act. And I do further proclaim and declare that the said district shall be called the “Middle Waiwetu Road District.”

Given under my hand and issued under the Public Seal of the Province of Wellington, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of March, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five.

Sale of 58. Land on the East Coast.

PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Charles William Schultze, Esquire, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, in the Colony of New Zealand.

I, Charles William Schultze, Deputy Superintendent of the Province of Wellington, do hereby in pursuance of the Regulations in this behalf proclaim and notify that the several allotments of land situate in the Warehama Block, in the East Coast District, in the Province of Wellington, and specified in the Schedule hereto, except such as may be reserved under the provision hereafter mentioned, will be put up for sale by public auction at the Crown Lands Office in the Town of Wellington, on Wednesday, the third day of May, one thousand eight hundred and sixty-five, at one o’clock in the afternoon.

If at any time during the sale it may appear to the Commissioner of Crown Lands beneficial or expedient for the public service to reserve from sale either of the sections specified in the said schedule, or vary the order in which they
