operation of that Act by any Proclamation,
to be issued in that behalf by His Excellency
the Governor, shall, as from the time in
such Proclamation specified, be deemed and
taken, until the termination of the next
Session of the General Assembly, to be,
and to have been from such specified time
a natural-born subject of Her Majesty within
the Colony of New Zealand, as fully to
all intents and purposes as if his name had
been inserted in the Schedule to that Act
annexed. Provided always that every such
Proclamation shall contain the description,
occupation, or calling of every person therein
named; and his place of residence at the date
of such Proclamation.

Now, therefore, I, Sir George Grey, the
Governor of New Zealand, in pursuance of
the power and authority in me vested by the
said Act, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the persons hereinafter mentioned shall
come within the operation of the said Act
from the dates hereinafter specified, viz.:—

Philipp Heinrich Bremer,

From the second day of January, one
thousand eight hundred and sixty-four,
native of Hanover, Settler, residence Rangi-
tikei, in the Province of Wellington.

Johanna Dorothe Bremer,
wife of the above.

Franz Adolph Bremer
Louis Gustav Bremer
Robert Bremer
Johanna Amalia Bremer Children of
the above.
Gustav Friederich Bremer
Bertha Johanna Bremer

Given under my hand at the Govern-
ment House, at Auckland, and issued
under the Seal of the Colony of New
Zealand, this fifth day of February,
in the year of our Lord one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-four.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

Revoking certain Orders in Council respecting
the Native District of Whanganui.

At the Government House, at Auckland, on
the third day of February, 1864.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN
COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by certain Acts of the
General Assembly of New Zealand,
intituled respectively “The Native Circuit
Courts Act, 1858,” and “The Native Dis-
tricts Regulation Act, 1858,” it is provided
that it shall be lawful for the Governor in
Council from time to time to appoint Dis-
tricts for the purposes of the said Acts,
being Districts over which the Native Title
shall not for the time being have been ex-
tinguished, and any such appointment to
vary and revoke...

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Go-
vernor, by and with the advice and consent
of his Executive Council, doth hereby revoke
the Orders in Council bearing date respec-
tively twenty-third January, 1863, appointing
the “District of Whanganui,” for the pur-
poses of the said Acts respectively: And
doth declare that this Order shall take
effect from and after the third day of
January, 1864.

ORDER IN COUNCIL,

Re-constituting District of Whanganui under
“The Native Circuit Courts Act, 1858.”

the third day of February, 1864.

Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN
COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by an Act of the General
Assembly of New Zealand, intituled
“The Native Circuit Courts Act, 1858,” it
is provided that it shall be lawful for the
Governor in Council from time to time to
appoint Districts for the purposes of the said
Act, being Districts over which the Native
Title shall not for the time being have been
extinguished:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor, by and with the advice and consent
of his Executive Council, doth hereby order,
appoint, and declare that the territory here-
after described shall be a District for the
purposes of the said Act, that is to say:
All territory lying within a boundary line
commencing at the mouth of the Patea river,
thence along the boundaries of the Provinces
of Taranaki, Auckland, and Hawke’s Bay
to the source of the Tutaekuri river, thence
to the source of the Turakina river, thence
along that river to the Southern boundary
of the Turakina District, thence along that
boundary to Rotokari, thence along the
West Coast to the mouth of the Patea river:
excepting all lands over which the Native
Title has been extinguished within the
meaning of the said Act.
